Hey! I’m Josh.
Hey, I’m Josh, the guy behind Good Feeling Films.
After serving four years in the Marine Corps, I moved to Sydney, Australia, where I spent three years studying. It was during that time I discovered my passion for film production. One day, I found myself on a film set, and everything about it captivated me. (ASK ME ABOUT IT) The creativity, the energy, and the storytelling drew me in completely. Soon after that experience, I bought a camera and picked up some lighting and audio gear, and started telling stories. The response to my early work gave me the motivation to continue pursuing filmmaking as a career, and I’ve been chasing that dream ever since.
Outside of my passion for video, I earned my master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University and communications degree from Dallas Baptist University.
Whether I’m working on a corporate video, a wedding, or a documentary, my goal is always the same: to capture authentic moments that leave a lasting impression. There’s something truly powerful about raw emotion and shared experiences, and it’s that magic that keeps me inspired.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me out surfing (yes, even on Lake Michigan), rock climbing, training for some brutal race or exploring a new coffee shop. I’m also passionate about emotional health and spend a lot of time learning how we can better connect with ourselves and others. I really believe the world becomes a better place when we take the time to understand ourselves.
I’m lucky to share life’s adventures with my amazing wife and our crazy golden doodle (pictured below).

A morning surf session, church with amazing folks, brunch at a local café, and relaxing with a good tv show or movie.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Anywhere with an ocean and nice weather.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t yet?
Scuba diving. It’s on the bucket list of things I MUST DO!

“We had the best time working with Josh for our wedding! We were pretty picky with all our vendors and did lots of searching to find people that suited our style. When we saw his work we knew we wanted to work with him. We wanted our video to feel very artsy with lots of effects like split screen and feel at time like it’s on old film, but also wanted to keep it traditional and classic at times. He did exactly that. And we also were able to receive our video within less than 7 weeks . He also uses high quality equipment so audio is clear and many family members who have seen are video that are in media/film were all very impressed with our wedding video. He was extremely friendly and communicative, helping us piece everything together before the big day and asking us insightful questions we hadn’t even considered.
